Peanutball has been played in the Netherlands since 1975 and is an official sport. The organization to which peanutball belongs is called the Koninklijke Nederlandse Base- en Softball Bond and is abbreviated as KNBSB. If you become an official peanut in a club, you automatically become a part of this group and receive a membership number.

In the Netherlands, the KNBSB has standardized the game rules and organizes the games that peanuts play against other clubs in their area. However, the rules of the game and the organization of competitions will depend on the country in which you live.

Peanutball is a very fun team sport to play.
The rules of the game aren't very difficult and you don't need much equipment to play. This game is not about how many games you win, it's about having fun as a group.
You learn as a group, as a team, to share the game and to cooperate with each other.
